Ek Kaam Desh Ke Naam Foundation – a non-government and non-funded organization that works for upliftment of the under privileged people of the society since 2007, with a vision to bring in change in the National scenario.

Ek Kaam Desh Ke Naam (EKDKN) envisions to organize and conduct public awareness programs on social issues; to recognize and honor individuals, organizations & associations for their outstanding contribution in socio-economic development. Further our mission is to inspire and empower individuals and communities by helping them to use technology(s).

Grieved by the plight of slums around Delhi, Ek Kaam Desh Ke Naam decided to support the huge untapped young intellects in slums to enable them realize their potential. Towards this EKDKN, relentlessly worked to bring about a change by providing quality education to the children residing in the slums. Various programs were also initiated to motivate the young talents by giving scholarships and meritorious awards to the bright students.

we have establish a ‘OPD ON WHEELS’ which will be beneficial to the families of low income sanitation workers with special focus on children, youth, women and elderly people living in the slums of West Delhi

Secondly, we are working on DAKSH Initiative: A literacy-numeracy enhancement project to reduce educational inequalities and improve the educational status of the children residing in impoverished slums of West Delhi.

Thirdly, Delhi Replantation Initiative (DRI): The plantations drive to take place out in barren lands parks, schools, colleges, RWAs, institutions and organisations of Delhi.
